Thought I'd just post a quick message about how things turned out with
the strays I've been working with. The little black and white guy
with the severe URI went to a no kill shelter and was adopted two days
later. The brown tabby with the degloved chin and FIV finally tested
negative for FIV and has found a home with one of our vets. He's
doing great and chasing her older cat without mercy.
Between the two cats I spent about two hundred dollars of my own
money. And now I just found out that Heather needs an echo to rule
out a heart problem, so that's 400 more gone. But happy endings are
happy endings...and it only took a good month to rehome the little
buggers!

Wow, that sounds like a *great* outcome. You did good! And $200 isn't really
all that much money -- well, it *is*, but golly Sethran, you invested it well
and beat the odds that a couple of strays like them have.
Best of luck for the echo to turn out well. \

Right. ;-) Anyway, excellent! Good luck w/ Heather's heart & her
echocardiogram.

Very cool, I'm happy for them and you...one last thing to worry about. Hope
Heather is okay.

Cool. Thanks for the update. Glad they both had happy endings. :)
