HI,
A few months ago, I began giving my cat chicken flavored Purina Frisky
hairball treats. He is no longer showing symptoms of hairballs, but the
problem now is that he seems to have gotten hooked on the treats. He
asks for them constantly and if I let him have his way, he will go
through four to six pieces a day.
The instructions on the package state that in order to prevent
hairballs, you should give the cat four to six pieces a week, and to
cure hairballs, you should give four to six pieces a day.
I've tried substituting other, non-medicated treats but he turns his
nose up at all of them.
Is it alright to let him have his fill of these or will too many do him
harm?
Thanks for any info.

Thay are probably high in Omega-3 fatty acids, fat and sugar. I'd
limit how many you give him. Have you tried the Wiskas Temptations
treats? My cats hate all treats except them.
Good luck,
