I was just thinking I should share this with you cat lovers. Our cat
Ginger is about 11, we adopted her when she was 1.5. One day early
on, I was making Ziti, and decided to give her a piece of the uncooked
stuff to bat around the wood floors. She loved it so much, that the
next time I made ziti, she came running when she heard me pour the dry
ziti into the boiling water. Now, years later, she will always arrive
in the kitchen when I make ziti. If it's any other shape of pasta,
she will ignore it. She must know it by the sound. Then, she bats it
around for a little bit before knocking it under the fridge, or until
one of us steps on it. What a hoot!

It's amazing how cats can make play toys out of anything. The other day I
got a circular in the mail and rolled it up into a tube and put some tape to
keep it rolled up. My cat Chloe LOVED it and played with it for quite some
time. It's fun just to watch them!!!!
