My new kitten crawls under the covers and bites my legs all night. Any
advice?

When he/she bites you like that, gently but firmly remove him/her from the
bed and place on the floor (I give a big-kitty "I'm not happy with you right
now hiss" as I do it as well). If that doesn't work, either lock him/her
out of the bedroom or into a room where you aren't. Ignore his/her
heartbreaking "I'm lonely" cries for a while. That will teach him/her that
biting you is when something they don't like happens.

LOL, try to stay alive. :-) This is probably an old wive's tale, but I
recall being told that the cats do this to see if you're dead yet so
they can eat you.

Try playing with her fairly hard before bed. Little ones get all tuckered
out really fast and really zonk out. My only other suggestion might be not
to sleep with her and that wouldn't be any fun. We'd love to see some photos
of her, by the way!

I'll post pictures in a couple of days. I still haven't found the perrrfect
name for her.

Shaina gets crazy active at night, if i don't play with her much
during the day. yesterday was one of those nights. she usually
sleeps in our room on the bed, or somewhere else in the room. i went
to a concert and came back at about 2am to find her playing hide and
seek with herself. she tried to involve me too. since i wanted to go
to sleep, i just let her in the room, but she was running about and
doing all sorts of noisy bad things. finally, i lured her onto the
bed with some tissue paper - she LOVES tissue paper and napkins! she
was hunting it on the bed for a while and eventually got tired and
fell asleep near me. i'm surprised she didn't wake up my boyfriend
with her jumps.
so i suggest finding a toy she really likes, playing with your kitten
a lot before bedtime and then you'll be able to sleep peacefully.
