I'm having similar experiences.
Nica (short for Pannonica) became our house cat at about 4-5 weeks. She made
the jump to solid food in the first 3 days. She was very undernourished
(born to a feral mother). We thought she was a week younger than she was.
Amazing how fast they grow and how rapidly she went from being timid to
jumping up on anything.
She has one odd behavior (probably comes from being one of many kittens in
an outdoor setting--or maybe she's just weird).
She likes to charge and attack both my face and my wife's face. It's
obviously a game, because she pulls up short at the last minute and put her
paws on my cheek (no claws) and then moves to my lap.
Another interesting behavior, typical to babies. She cries when she is too
tired to play and has to go to sleep.
Of course, with all this new confidence and jumping ability I'm having to
teach her what "NO!" means, often with a watergun to reinforce it. She's a
quick study, and has generally excellent manners.

yeah, same thing with Shaina. she was 6 weeks old and i could see
that she was way to thin for her age. but she was eating like she
hasn't been fed in years! no wonder - she was taken from a kill
shelter! then she started to eat less. when i took her to the vet,
when i realized when was getting ill, she weighted her and said that
she must be at least 1.5 lbs, not lbs. after treatment and meds, she
became and absolutely healthy normal kitten who demanded food and
play!

oh mo, that's normal. Shaina quickly realized that my face is the
same thing as her face and during play would pounce at my face, but
stop short and when she gets carried away, she does jump on my face
with soft paws and jumps back. she does like hand play and sometimes
bites hard, so i hiss and yell at her and eventually put her out of
the room. she is learning, slowly since she is a baby, but she does
understand "NO" means she is doing something wrong and stops, if for a
few minutes. she loves to play hunting games with me and since she
doesn't have a kitten friend, i spend some time chasing her and
playing "hide and seek". its' great! it's fun for her AND me. she
does see me as part human part cat, i think. and it's not surprising,
since i insisted that i was a cat until i was 6 years old. :)

nah, Shaina is all about play and calls me to play with her. she
kinda jumps on legs and pets them when i'm not paying attention and
don't want to play. i know she is a bit bored, but she is getting a
little kitten friend soon.

mmm, i generally don't mind if she jumps on my desk, unless she is
getting too riled up and gets in the way, but she likes to sleep in
the corner of the desk, under one of the shelves. i used to put her
on a window sill, in the kitchen, next to a couple of plants that she
plays with, while sunbathing. she never went on the table, though.
now that she is so agile, she can get onto the table from the chair
and then on the window sill. i don't really mind, since she is an
indoor cat, as long as there's no food on the table, but i wonder if
my roommates object and i'll have to train her not to do that. for
scratching, she only uses her cat trees, my rug in the room that's
like a sisal post, not the soft rug, and the same type of rug in the
kitchen so my furniture and bedding are safe. i kinda spoil her, i
think, because she is so cute and also because she is EVERYWHERE. i
nicknamed her "mercury" or "quicksilver" because she is so fast to
escape when i pick her up during play. she does like to cuddle
sometimes and will sleep in our bed for a little while, but she will
leave and go either to her bed, or sleep somewhere else in the room.
she sleeps whenever is definitely and completely nocturnal cat! she
is quite independent.
