I have recently come across a device that deals very well with the
issue of restroom door handles and it is called a WAKMAH. I got it
from a pub in London somewhere and it does the trick and is quite good
fun too

What exactly do restroom door handles 'issue'? Do I want to know?

(why it was spammed to a pets group, I can't imagine)

LOL
The spammed device is apparently a doorknob-shaped piece of plastic,
with a suction cup on the back.

Most restroom doors you push to enter, and pull to exit.  A lot of
people don't like to touch the handle to exit, because everyone who
did not wash their hands grabbed it.  I'm not obsessed with the idea,
but I generally prefer to grab the handle through a paper towel,
or the tail of my shirt or jacket if the restroom has hot-air hand
dryers and no paper towels.
