Some people add oils to their cats' diets to assist with this; you
may want to consider some omega3 fish oil as it's good for her,
anyway.

As a person with allergies, I can give a very definitive "yes".
Allergies most *definitely* affect the skin.

My cat had that for a while and the vet suggested a few drops of flax seed
oil in her food. That and a good brushing each day.

Thanks guys. So I guess her dry skin is the allergies. Can steroid shots
cause dry skin?

As a meowmie with two cats who get steroids (one on prednisone every
other day for nearly 2 years, one who gets depo medrol shots as
needed for the past 2 years) I've never seen it cause dry skin.

Ok I guess then the dry skin is from allergies. Thanks, I just wanted to
ask because she has been getting depomedrol shots every 12 weeks for the
last year.
