Did he really eat (?) the catnip leaves and whipped cream? Or did he
lick off the cream first? I somehow can't imagine my cats being
patient enough in the presence of catnip to politely lick off the
whipped cream first. <G>

Actually, he bit the whipped cream off. It was just a small "finger dip"
sized lump on top. Then he ate the leaves one at a time. TK won't
waste time with the sniffing, licking, pawing, rolling in catnip. He just
picks up the leaf in his mouth, chews it a few times, and eats it.
I guess, growing up in the wild, he knows that he better eat it NOW
before some other cat comes along and steals it. All our other cats,
raised from kittens, would do the whole sniff, lick, paw, roll, routine.

Ah, that explains it, then. My cats are the rolling, drooling, goofy
types. :-)
