I thought a couple of you might like to see "TK" looking quite proud of
himself for discovering a new place to crawl into.
I posted it on alt.binaries.pictures.animals.

Meknows I have a handful here....
I guess we've proven that a picture is, indeed, worth a thousand words. <g>

I posted the pic in honor of his 1st birthday, June 30 (Just a guess, but I'd bet
we're within a few weeks).
All our cats have gotten a special birthday meal once a year. It's been a tradition
for decades. TK had a good baked chicken pig-out, today. His favorite "people" food.
Followed by a couple of fresh catnip leaves with a small dab of whipped cream.
That was one happy kitty this evening.

Indeed.

Did he really eat (?) the catnip leaves and whipped cream? Or did he
lick off the cream first? I somehow can't imagine my cats being
patient enough in the presence of catnip to politely lick off the
whipped cream first. <G>

Actually, he bit the whipped cream off. It was just a small "finger dip"
sized lump on top. Then he ate the leaves one at a time. TK won't
waste time with the sniffing, licking, pawing, rolling in catnip. He just
picks up the leaf in his mouth, chews it a few times, and eats it.
I guess, growing up in the wild, he knows that he better eat it NOW
before some other cat comes along and steals it. All our other cats,
raised from kittens, would do the whole sniff, lick, paw, roll, routine.

Ah, that explains it, then. My cats are the rolling, drooling, goofy
types. :-)
