Apparently as an advertising gimmick, Meow Mix marketing folks have come up
with a traveling "Cat Olympics"...where cat owners can, among other things,
hone their litterbox-changing skills and such to compete. Whatever. But here's
the text from the ad:
"While the world´s best athletes converge upon Athens this summer in search of
Olympic glory, feline fanatics from across the U.S. will be competing for the
title of America´s Top Cat Lover. Contestants will be asked to test their
skills in games that simulate activities they would normally do for their cats,
such as feeding them, removing hairballs, cleaning out a litterbox, and playing
with a ball of yarn, all in the name of  “keeping cats happy.” "

Note the part that says "removing hairballs." Has *anybody* here ever had to
"remove a hairball"???? New one on me. I realize the folks at Meow Mix haven't
caught on that cats don't discern what color their food is...they keep loading
it up with horrid dyes to make it this gawdawful orange and red color. Maybe
they don't know that much about hairballs, either.

On second thought, another event should be "Cleaning horrid orange stain out of
carpet after cat urks up Meow Mix."
