Our 2 year old cat, does not seem to sleep enough. She gets about 8
hours a day, same as us. Barring any midnight wanders that we are not
aware of. She does take the occasional rest and an afternoon nap every
few days.

I don't think it's anything serious, she just likes to be up when we
are awake. There's also the birdie factor. We feed the birds/squirrels
on the patio and they will often come right up to the screen for their
food. The temptation of a bright red Cardinal inches from your nose is
too much to resist.

She seems healthy enough, eats like a horse, weighs about 12 pounds.
She's a little lanky, but not really thin. No sign of worms. Our
smaller 7 year old cat by comparison sleeps 16+ hours a day, eats half
the food of the young one and is rolly polly.

Any thoughts/concerns?

Older cats sleep more.
