It stopped raining long enough for me to bike down to the seaport and
check it out. Here is the report:

Interesting narrative.  I'll keep the hint in mind if I ever decide to enter
a water drinking contest.  Jackie looks so relaxed on the window perch.  I
think she knows a good thing when she sees it.

Oh, sweet little Jackie; she does look like she's had a tough time of
it in the past (but she looks pretty comfy in the window). :-)

Thanks for the pictures; that car is kinda creepy. What were the
orange things in the litterboxes, anyway?

That car is *way* creepy. Creepiest thing I've seen on wheels since the Oscar
Mayer Weiner-mobile.
If that car drove up in my driveway, my dachshund would have had a little
doggie heart attack.

Better than your dachshund having a little kitty heart attack. ;-)

The orange things are like wooden poker chips. Oh, actually, they were
almost exactly like a wooden nickel.

Sorry I didn't get a shot of the front of the car. It was the first
thing I saw when I got there and it looked like it was getting ready
to pull out because the exhibit area they had set up for it (under
some awnings) was empty. So I figured they were closing early and
leaving. But it turns out that they had just moved inside because of
the rain.

It wasn't until after I wrote up the web page that I realized that
there were supposed to be cats for adoption and that there were none
around. I guess that they had them outside and perhaps the management
of the Seaport didn't want them to be inside, or maybe it was just too
much work to bring all the cages up to the third floor of the mall.
Too bad.

Wow! Our very own correspondent to the Cat Olympics! Thanks for the report...my
favorite part was Jackie, of course. What a sweet girl.
I told the cats the part you wrote about the chance to win a  diamond collar.
They told me to apologize immediately for all the cruddy things I said about
Meow Mix.

Yeah, I was thinking that a collar could be made into a bracelet
pretty easily, myself...

Lol...no doubt.  Meow Mix is probaby one of the crappiest on the
market.  My brother's cat Gato wouldn't eat anything else.  She lived
to be almost 22.

Oh, man. You are going to heaven. If there isn't one, someone will just have
to create it. What a lovely, grateful and sweet cat you have there.
