Did you see some of the stories about pets that went missing and
where they were found? All of them written in by kids. :) Some of
those should be added to a FAQ for when pets go missing. lol

Clearly British children:
"I don't have a pet but I would like to say all these comments are so
funny and I was laughing nearly out loud!
Rebecca, 12, Southampton"
Nearly laughing out loud? My, but she's a brazen one. ;-)
And what is it with all these free-range hamsters? Don't they have
Habitrails in the UK?

How long does it take to check a drier, refrigerator, open closet, dishwasher
,etc. to see if your kitty/cat jumped in? For Lord's sake..if you have one or
more cats in the house isn't it automatic to make sure no cats are around if
you open the front door? open the drier and turn to transfer the wet clothes to
the drier? etc.

I suppose if they hadn't realized the cat was even in the room they might
not have looked - a mistake I'm sure they won't make again.
A friend of mine lost her son when they came home from grocery shopping.
They searched the house, the yard, the neighborhood - couldn't find him.
Here he had crawled into the clothes dryer and was sitting in there watching
them look for him.

I was doing laundry the other day and left the laundry room with the
clothes, and didn't kick the door shut on the dryer. I went back in a little
later, like 5 minutes, and Tucker was all curled up in there. Cute as a
button, deadly as hell! I scolded him, but it was my booboo, of course. I
just don't want him to ever climb in the nice warm dryer again!

All you have to do is close the door and turn it on for a second, then
quickly open the door. :-)
