mobile vet dilemma

Allrighty y'all -- here's a puzzler for ya.  I have recently
found an absolutely fabulous veterinarian to treat my three
cats.  She is a mobile vet who comes to my house to see them.
The problem is, my cats are utterly freaked out about having the
vet come into THEIR territory, so I'm trying to come up with
some alternate ideas.  She doesn't really have clinic privileges
at any of the local vets' offices, and I've been racking my
brain for ideas for alternate locations.  I thought about maybe
going to a friend's house that's not too far away, but she's got
two big dogs and two cats of her own.  Just a quiet room, maybe
a local rec center would work -- I just can't think of anything.
Does anyone have any ideas?  I could pay rent.  Hey, maybe a
hotel room!  But I'm thinking more of something like a meeting
room that I could rent by the hour, or something like that.
God, I have become the insane cat lady. Somebody get a net -- M9

Is there any particular room in your house that you can designate as
the "veterinarian room" and have her always examine them in that
room, and only in that room? It might help.

I have A Visiting Veterinarian come to my home to examine, give shots,
trim nails, etc.  She does it in the kitchen.  TuTu holds no grudge
against the kitchen -- in fact she loves it (especially the
refrigerator).

A friend of mine suggested using the diningroom table as a way to keep the
cats from jumping up there at other times!  ;-)
