I have two regular cats.  Herr Katzer & Se?or Gato.

Se?or Gato sleeps like a log on Valium that has been hiking 16 hours a
day for three days.  When I take out the laser pointer he will chase
the dot and jump about 5 feet on the wall to get the dot until I get
tired of it.

Herr Katzer is a very light sleeper but gets tired of the laser
pointer very quickly.

They're littermates and both healthy.  It's just wierd.

my kitten, Shaina, was all about playing, biting and catching when i
just brought her home, 1.5 weeks ago.  now she eats, preferably with
one of us sitting beside her, and naps.  she naps a lot! at night, she
prefers to sleep on my chest, right next to my face.  she looks
healthy, but she just doesn't care to play even when i try to entice
her with crinkly, shiny, snaky things.  she used to jump onto things,
or at least try, since she is small, and climb up on the bed, on the
chair, up our jeans, but now she meows until one of us picks her up
and puts her on our lap, or wherever she wants to be.  i am afraid we
are spoiling her and turning her into a lazy cat. i think she is bored
and lonely.  i'll be getting her a friend probably this weekend.
