Not as long as your sentence.

It will feel longer than it really is. My cat was in heat for about a week.
We waited  a few days and got her fixed.

Until you get her to the vet and get her spayed.

Probably a week or so but then she will continue to go into heat every couple
of weeks or so until you get her fixed.  You will be doing her and yourself a
favor by doing so.  The world doesn't need more unwanted kittens and your cat
will be healthier and you will not have to endure the howling, etc.

A few days to a week, most likely. Then she'll go out of heat, but another
heat will return - sometimes almost immediately, other times a sapn of time
in-between heats.  Provided that she doesn't become pregnant.  While she's
in heat, if she's normally allowed to go outdoors, you'll have to keep her
inside; otherwise a pregnancy will be the inevitable result.

The best thing would be to make an appt. w/ your vet to have her spayed,
ASAP.
