You might want to check around your house for spilled antifreeze, it
causes cats to foam at the mouth in small doses and also causes
convulsions and death in large doses. hth

Actually, FWIU, in most places in the UK, they no longer use the same
kind of antifreeze we do. Theirs is much less toxic.
Poster needs to worry about the kind with ethylene glycol.
The newer, propylene glycol-based antifreeze, is less toxic (though
still not a good thing for them to consume) and is more bitter so that
they don't have such a desire to consume it.
