Today I officially turned the stores over to the new company.  What a year
it has been too many masters going to the RB.  Me almost losing my two of my
furballs.

I am retired as of noon today.  Yet I will find something to do in the
future  maybe open a old time fountain soda shop or open a non emergency
medical transport service.  There are plenty of elderly in my area that can
benefit from that. The other there is nothing like that in our area except a
Johnny Rocket's which is a corporate location.

In the next 10 days I am taking a  5 day 4 night cruise to celebrate that is
going to Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas.  I am going to swim with the
dolphins in Freeport and I am going to swim with the manta ray's in Nassau
already bought those excursions.  Wish me luck and a warm time.  If it is
cold here in Florida it is cold there also

It was a joke Matt. Happy retirement.

I know ;-)   I wish I could help  but at my limit going on my trip.  I can
retire and live nice with some comforts as long as no major problems arise.
Mom's retirement money will cover any problems that arise just in case just
barely.  I should have not completely retired but due to what happened last
year with the ex wife I wanted out of any headaches.  So When I get back I
am going to look into something that seniors can due part time or get
another small business going.  The house is paid off and I have no debuts as
of today so that is good on behalf

I took Phantom back today for the curve blood work needed  another 176.95
out the door plus medication  38.65.  I am going to buy the meds off line
for what I am paying thru my vet I can get 3 months for the same price.  My
pharmacy for 20 is 16.95.  I love my vet been with him since 1984  but over
double is a little too much

In the UK there is a hell of a difference between the price online and
what the vet charges.

Awesome!  Congratulations on the retirement and vacation.

If possible, PLEASE take some video or pictures of the rays and
dolphins.  That's something I cannot do and would love to see it if
possible.

Whatever you do, enjoy yourself!

May not be able to do video but plan on pictures.  I don't have a waterproof
video camera and there is no way I am paying $300 for a copy. That is a
guess but if they charge $20 for a picture on the ship Ican guess what it
will cost there.  Plus seeing me might break the camera ;-). I am going to
pick up some underwater cameras at office depot for about $10 each

May I ask why you can't?  If you are physically handicap  They have places
that you can go do this at such as Seaworld's discovery cove.

If it is money  I got a sweet deal by going in the off season.  Upper deck,
Nice room with balcony, gratuties prepaid, insurance for $500 including tax
and all fees.  I don't drink alchol and I am bringing a cooler with a case
of water to cut cost.

Now that the stores are gone I am on a budget got to make what I have last
till I am ready to cross over.

I didn't know they had them!  I'll have to check that out.

Sure you can.  There are some physical limitations, but my primary
problem is safety issues -- agoraphobia.  Mix that with a bad ticker
and you have a bomb -- one which I don't want going off in my chest,
and only adds to the agoraphobia in my opinion.

My frontal lobe was severely damaged when I was a teenager, which
they consider "physical."  But due to the amount of mental BS it
caused, I consider it a predominantly mental one.

Perhaps one day, with continued exposure therapy I'll be able to
venture outside without my family wrapped around me like a protective
body suit again -- anxiety is a pain.  I used to think it was BS, eh,
not so much anymore.

I can go out at night just fine for the most part.  In fact, the
spouse and children often go to bed around 5 or 6 PM on "grocery
night" so they can get up with me at around 2 or 3 AM and hit the
grocery store without the crowd.

I hear you there!  Good luck with it all, and I hope you have enough
budget for at least 50 more years.  : )

I understand about crowds I used t have panic attacks when I went thru my
first divorce.  She drove me almost over the edge

They have places that are one on one or in small parties

(Blowing some warm weather towards you)
Congratulations Matthew. We are ever so pleased for you.
As long as you enjoy it, that is all that matters....

I have a feeling you won't be sitting around for long. You have always
worked hard, & those type of Good Habits are hard to break ( which is
a very good thing!)....
I have no doubt that you will return rejuvenated, & ready to start
your latest Project:o)

Have a Wonderful Holiday Matthew,

I don't think it gets too cold there.  It can get wet, windy and
overcast though.

The weather changes very quickly in the Bahamas.  Many years ago I was
a crew member on one of the ships out of Fort Lauderdale.

I don't mean to be argumentative but the weather can change out there.
I have gone from Florida when it has been hot without clouds and then
into Nassau where it has looked like England in April.

It is all to do with currents and pressure.  It is not a bad
temperature I will say.
