Sure you can. There are some physical limitations, but my primary
problem is safety issues -- agoraphobia. Mix that with a bad ticker
and you have a bomb -- one which I don't want going off in my chest,
and only adds to the agoraphobia in my opinion.
My frontal lobe was severely damaged when I was a teenager, which
they consider "physical." But due to the amount of mental BS it
caused, I consider it a predominantly mental one.

Perhaps one day, with continued exposure therapy I'll be able to
venture outside without my family wrapped around me like a protective
body suit again -- anxiety is a pain. I used to think it was BS, eh,
not so much anymore.
I can go out at night just fine for the most part. In fact, the
spouse and children often go to bed around 5 or 6 PM on "grocery
night" so they can get up with me at around 2 or 3 AM and hit the
grocery store without the crowd.

I hear you there! Good luck with it all, and I hope you have enough
budget for at least 50 more years. : )

I understand about crowds I used t have panic attacks when I went thru my
first divorce. She drove me almost over the edge

They have places that are one on one or in small parties

50 years I surely hope so I would be well into my 100's
