Just in case it hasn't been mentioned this winter. In the morning, don't forget to give your car hood a pat and then listen (or however it's done best, other suggestions are welcome). Cats have been known to find warmth inside of a car engine compartment. I know a guy that drove to work hearing strange sounds, but not knowing that a cat was being tortured to death under his hood until it was much too late. Good luck and have fun. When I was a child, we had to check *under* the car, as for some reason the kittens loved lining up on the rear axle. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself, more than once.
