I think any string, or any toy for that matter, can be dismantled
by a cat. That said, it seems sturdy enough for interactive play.
Shamrock held the string in his mouth and tried to run off with
it. It held. This time.

This is definitely a "human intervention" type of toy.

I'd take it away of course. When it isn't on, the string can be
hidden behind the elastic conveyor "belt", and when no one is
around it should be put away.
I don't think this one is suitable for your cats, though. At least
while ARcher and Ozzy are still young. LOL Those two are trouble
makers. hehehe

Of course, but I think I meant something different (maybe because I was
thinking of another type of string). I once tried to get a piece of string
out of Bandit's mouth, but the little inward-pointing spikes on her tongue
made it almost impossible - the more she and I struggled to get it out, the
faster it went down her throat. I was lucky that it was short enough to not
cause any problems, but I'm a worry-wart and I spent a couple of frantic
days imaging all the damage it could be doing her intestines.

LOL! A-yup, the other day Archer managed to push a metal ladder away from
the wall of the garage and was just lucky that he managed to jump far enough
away while it was falling that it didn't crush him under it! How he managed
this I'll never know - it was leaning against the wall of the garage at a 30
degree angle!!!
