OK, I know there is no definitive answer to this question. But what is
the "smartest" cat breed? (if you feel you cannot list one, list
several, but please rank them).

I realize this is totally subjective but I'd love to know everyone's
thoughts.

In my experience, there is no one breed that's smarter than another.  I think
it has to do with each individual cat's makeup.

I've got a soft spot for tabbies - two of the ones I've known liked to
play fetch, which always impressed me.

My cat Isis has me trained. She will chase after an object if I throw it and
then and then wait for me to throw it in the other direction.

All cats are intelligent in my book. After all, they have us working for
them.

my tabby cat acts more like a horse/dog.... he fetches, chases and clomps
like a horse when he runs.... hes not the most intelligent cat....

Tigers, easily.  I mean...

wait, you said *breed*, not *species*. =^_^=

Have to say bengals, but I'm biased - and besides, we did have two
incredibly clever mutts, one of whom was known to unlock cages.
