There are three types which make up the complex. Kim gets a trout
pout on the bottom lip sometimes. Someone on this group kindly gave me

I have a cat with EGC and he is relieved from itching only from steriod
shots. It is usually caused by an allergy so if the allergen can be found,
ellimination of the allergen would bring relief, but we haven't found
Shamrock's allergen yet. It should be noted that EGC is sometimes
idiopathic and treating the symptoms is the only relief. Shamrocks lesions
form on the middle of his back, or the base of his tail, or on the rear
legs.
