Need immediate help cat with multiple lacerations on abdomen.Was let
out of house into back yard where it was attacked by neighbors
Pitbull.Local vets and animal rescue vets are unavailable til
tomarrow,>Is there anything I can give my cat for the pain,should I
seal/butterfly the wounds? Cat suffers from epilepsy,too.

just try and get him to vet asap, are there no emergency hospitals
near you?
also DO NOT be tempted to giev the cat any painkillers such as
ibuprophen or paracetamol or anythgin like acetaminophen, or you will
have BIG problems on your hands, and maybe a dead cat.

keep him warm and still for as long as you can until you can get him
to a vet, wrap him in a blanket or towel even as he may be in shock
from the attack, and keep trying tofind a emergnecy vet, there must be
one near you who is on call 24 hours a day

If your cat is suffering from multiple lacerations, it needs to see a
medical professional. You can't get that sort of help here on USENET.

State where you live so someone can recommend something useful, unless
your cat dies between now and then.

That is just another good example of why cats should almost always be
kept inside only, among all sorts of other hazards in the not-so-great
outdoors, cats make fast food for pit bulls.

By the way. Is your cat declawed?
I'm wondering if you removed its ability to climb, its only possible
method of self-defense against an attack dog.
