Bill, my duaghters cat, neutred male kept running back to her old apartment
after they moved, which means he has to cross train tracks and a busy highway

several of you suggested her getting another cat
it was my mistake I forget to tell she had 2 cats, Bill and Lilly
Lilly actuall truned out be male, he's neutred also
and they were the best of buds, always grooming each other

She finally gave up on a Bill after bringing him home 3 times, one of her old
neigbhors has 2 cats and said she'd keep Bill

She didnt want to do this but Bill was a stray when he adopted them and has
been an outdoor cat his entire life and if Bill is kept inside when he wants to
go outside, he'll piss right next to the door!  She figured rather than risk
him getting killed on his treks across town that he might better stay with the
former neigbor
Bill is Mr. Laid back, she can go see and he's always friendly always willing
go with her...but then it starts all over again...

poor daughter, shortly after after she decided to give Bill up, Lilly was hit
by a car and didnt survive

she did go to the spca for $60 she got sweet neutred and all her shots cat,
she's almost a year...and will never be let outside

and many thanks for all your suggestions

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.
