How many years have your cats taken off your life?
How many years have they added to your life?

Maybe it's a trade off.. when Im petting them.. it is relaxing (like I
have a choice but to chill)

BUT.. I can be sitting in my chair.. zoned out.. chilling to the
max... and BOOM! cat in your lap.

How many jolts can a human take before.. uh...

No No No NO....I know you were talking about strike two, but not every
woman is like that... seriously!! You just need to find the "Right
One"....

Barry...? No No No NO NO! Not even maybe....
He has too much gift of the gab. I assure you he would look dreadful
in the red silk frock you have there,

<rejecting it right now..reaching over the the closet door(wardrobe!)
& reaching further to reach the right one>

Here, you are....! If you must dress him in Anything...It has to be
this number & only with the amber ankle chain..Trust ME....
<famous last words>
Try the leopard skin print..It will make all the difference & he would
prefer it too..

<holding it out for you all to see..see?... No real labels, all
printed and proper in velvet>

On balance, I would say keep looking Matt..However nice Barry is, I'm
sure you could do far better..No Offence Barry...But he could,
couldn't he Barry?
And if you really do need a nice female cat, I'm certain we could fix
you up on that one as well...
<6 flutter to mind on the spot!!>
You could do great if you wanted to....

Oh I know that.  I am always looking now.  I did not mean to make a general
over all mass naming.  My apologies

No more furballs I have 6 already myself

I think I am going to start drinking again after that mental picture you
gave me of Barry.  That is enough to make a "gay" man straight again or at
least make him become a sheep herder :)

You scared my straight Sheelagh  I promise never to think that again.  Jut
no more mental pictures of Barry I am an old man my heart can't take it

Well, one of my cats refuses all attempts I make to give it affection
on my time!   When I am busy on the computer, drawing, doing business
or doing something very important, it has a crisis where it needs
immediate and long term loving and affection!  Odd and frustrating!
Since it was a rescue cat, the only thing I can figure out is that
when its original owner gave it direct attention it was not pleasing
to the cat!  So, Pancho has to wait till I can give attention to him
but not give him total direct looking at him and directing acting to
him!

My cats haven't taken any years off my life.  Now when my boss sneaks up
behind me while I'm listening to my iPod at work...he must have robbed me of
at least 6 7/8 years today alone!

> How many years have they added to your life?

More than can be measured.

I feel the same way when my Lilith Kitten-Mahoney purrs me to sleep every
night.
