Forget buying that yucky Metamucil - just get a long haired cat.  The
fur you ingest will provide plenty of fiber.

Hey, with the cat I've got, I've never seen *a hair* -- his fur comes
in clumps, floating in the breeze.

It's mostly keratin, anyway, so your fingernails should be nice and
strong. :-)
