I've narrowed down an available selection of catfood for my 6 cats to
the following:

Innova Adult Cat Food
Innova Evo
Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Adult
Orijen (a local variety manufactured by Champion Pet Foods of
Morinville, Alberta)

Looking for input on those of you have have or continue to use any of
these.  I've had two dogs on Innova food for many years; been very
happy with both the quality, effect and cost effectiveness of that
brand.  As of a very short duration sampling, cats seem to be
preferring the Nutro then a tossup between the Innova Evo/Orijen (both
of these being non or very low grain/high protein types).

thanks

I alternate Innova Evo canned with several varietiesof Wellness canned
(which means about 1 can of Innova Evo to 3 cans of Wellness).  The cats
like it and are thriving on this diet.

my cats love their Nutro.  I now feed them some of the wet (pouches) in
addition to the dry.  When they introduced their indoor cat formula, I
switched my older cat over and his coat is kitten soft and VERY shiney
now.

My monitoring of samples continues . . . . . all six cats are starting
to have a very strong preference to the Nutro.  This after taking a
chance on an initial observation and purchasing many of the Innova Evo
bags (I live in the sticks . . . not easy to get to town).  May come
down to what type of return policy the supplier has!

I'm usually a skeptic.  Nutro I have heard of and it seems most have
good things to say about the Co.  I've often wondered to what degree
an animals acceptance of a product may be tied into the Co making it
"taste appealing" moreso than addressing other  parameters.  I know
this is slightly off topic, buy hey, I don't post much at all!
Sitting here typing up an environmental assessment report, this gives
me a break from the (sometimes) monotony of data analysis.

thanks again to all
