Levi has been absolutely molesting my lips to suckle! I have let him do
this since we got him since he never really got to suckle on mama, but this
baby is relentless!! I'm typing this with a kitten attached to my mouth,
and if he wasn't so cute I'd probably make him stop.

The weird thing is that he seems to want to do it CONSTANTLY now. I guess
it's time to wean him. Hehe.

Lynne, it is adorable but I am imagining it with a great big boy cat.

I thought of that, but don't think it would be safe (or that he would take
it at this point. He RUNS to my face!). Levi chewed and swalled a nursing
nipple when he was very tiny and it was quite scary. Latex teats are no
match for a kitten's teeth after a certain age.

If only someone made a kitten binky!

Sometimes, like when I'm trying to work, I don't let him suckle. He just
keeps coming at me with his purr motor going and little kisses. I giggle
and eventually give in and try to work around him. When I do detatch him
(and wipe off my lips!), he knows that's it and goes right to sleep. I
suppose I'm wrapped around his little paws...

Have you tried to distract him with a catnip mousie? My cat loves a
windup mouse (hard plastic) that runs and whirls. This, of course, is for
a distraction not a substitute mommylip! MLB

Hey, it's a cheap way of getting that "bee-stung" look for lips! Cheaper
than collagen injections and a lot more fun! Your cosmetologist certainly
won't purr for you!

been there - but 'necking'
my daughter brought home a 5 wk old years back from an outdoor litter, and
"Bird" just wanted to suck! (wouldn't take a bottle, though, had to
'eyedropper him'). would charge across the room and onto my neck when he
needed his 'fix' and the 'neck-sucking drool' would just soak my shirt. did
it for a year!

HA! I get tons of chin drool. And Levi definitely charges at me when he
wants some sucky-sucky. He's so cute, I just can't deny him.
