moving away from feral community

My sister and her husband have a business in a Seattle neighborhood with a
large feral cat community. They have been taking care of this community for
about
10 years, feeding, vaccinating, spaying, neutering, nursing and finding homes
for kittens etc. They are now needing to move their business to a larger
building in a new neighborhood, and can't find any information on what they can
do for the remaining cats, now that they will no longer be around to take care
of them. The vet they asked responded with a very helpful "I dunno." Any
ideas would be very welcome.Thanks. Susan C

How big is the colony? One would think/hope that after 10 years of
spaying/neutering and placing kittens that it would have dwindled down to a
manageable number. Can they not trap them and take them with them somewhere
else? Aren't there feral cat rescue groups in Seattle that would help? I'm
sure in a city that size that there must be. Do a google search or check out
this site for leads:

Yes, a woman from one of them, Sharon Talbert, posts here. It's Friends
of Campus Cats (or something like that). I'm sure they/she would have a
lot of useful advice. :)

Sharon is terrific. She helped me (via this newsgroup)a few years ago when
I took in a feral cat as a pet. It would also help if your sister or you
would be willing to make a contribution to her organization.

I know she's from Washington State but I don't know what city. I'm sure she
would have constructive advice for the OP, though.

Hi, Sharon Talbert of Campus Cats here. I shared some good information
(about a local feral cat organization called Feral Cat Spay/Neuter
Progject) with the original poster and hope her sister finds some
assistance. I also offered to help her get in touch with that mailing
list, to possibly locate a new guardian angel for the colony.
