HELP! My cat is losing appetite.

Hello

My cat is old and he have lost he's appetite.
He doesnt eat much and has already lost a lot of weight.
Im really worried!

Can anyone help me? - Give me some advice?
Can I put something over hes food to make him eat?

He needs to see a vet as soon as possible.

I agree with Gail in saying that he needs to see a vet ASAP. However,
have you tried:
*canned food, room temperature or slightly warmed
*sprinkling a little tuna juice over the food
*trying a different kind/brand of food
*tempt him with chicken breast or his favorite treat

Have you checked his teeth  he might have an abscess
Has he been pulling at his mouth

Try some gravy   or tuna juice

Rikke,

Please get to the vet ASAP.  I'm in a similar situation and my kitty's
being treated for IBD.  If you don't get to a vet, you won't be able
to improve the situation much.
