My 10 month old kitten seem to leak from his butt when excited or
nervous,it does not seem to be poop but it smell like it. He is active
and playful and appears healthy otherwise, any ideas what could be
problem.

If it happens often I'd ask the vet about it. It might be an anal gland
problem.
My Tigger has on rare occasions (maybe 8 - 10 times over 16 1/2 years)
squirted out some noxious fluid from her rear when she's freaked out or VERY
upset with me. Nothing was wrong with her other than her displeasure with
the situation.

Hello
My oldest cat use to have anal gland problems. It sounds similar to what
you are going through. See a vet thats your best bet.
