Incredibly sad
This is yet another reason for asking "why". Why would someone do this and
who are they? It just isn't enough to say they are sick or evil or mean.
There has to be more. What kind of people are we walking in the streets
with??

I rather envy you the kind of life you must have had in order to
even have to ask this question. Cruel d*ckheads have always
seemed front and center to me. One thing: I think a better question
might be, what kind of children are we raising? This deed has
"kids" written all over it, to me.
On a happy note, it looks like the cats will be fine.

It's a question in general. Just because you choose to see the negative side
of life doesn't mean the rest of us do. Regardless of the fact that cruel
people have always been around (see The Passion of the Christ at all) it
doesn't mean we have to accept it or not question it.
I didn't know this group had a question monitor.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of intelligence. I guess that explains your lack
of wit perfectly.

Well from what they stated on the news they are not sure whether the cats
wondered into the area of the spill by mistake or it was deliberate.
Apparently this was burglery and the owner of the shop called police after
he found the cat with her kittens. The police are still investigating.

TuTu and I are sending multiple purrs that mother cat and kittens get
along well and find good permanent homes. And, may the mystery be
solved.

Well I have asked the AHS to keep us here at the station posted. It is sad
what happened.

I can't even go to the link, fearing it'll be too upsetting, but 3 people
were just arrested in my town for stabbing a cat, tossing it over a fence
and then on top of a garage roof. Their ages are: 27, 28 and 37........
they have been charged with one felony and one misdemeanor.

Would you have their names and the town(s) they live in?
Cat Protector - 31 Mar 2004 18:28 GMT
That is really upsetting how someone can do this to a cat. It makes me want
to do the same thing to them!

Me too!
Tracy - 31 Mar 2004 18:42 GMT
So how come every other horrible animal abuse story that I hear on
here happens in Arizona?
I'm wondering.
Cat Protector - 31 Mar 2004 19:33 GMT
That is not really accurate.

Yes it is. The vast majority of cruelty stories that are posted in this
group are posted by you, and they are from you local media. Therefore it
follows that most of the abuse stories Tracy sees on here happen in
Arizona.
BTW, have you bothered to help those poor strays at your apt. complex
yet? You know, the ones you haven't lifted a finger to help even though
you had plenty of time to post about their unfortunate circumstances?
Remember? The ones I wrote a flyer for to help you get them to safety?
The ones you boo-hooed about until there was the expectation that you
should actually make an effort to help them? I bet the one that is
declawed is having a fun time of it trying to survive with no defenses.
I'm not sure why you feel it necessary to continuously post stories
about animal abuse as these stories really do nothing except to
constantly remind us of the suffering that many of us already know too
much about and witness too often. I'd rather see you use that time
constructively and help those strays you talked about so long ago.
Why don't you do that and post some damn happy news for a change?

Well, he did post about Isis' or Jade's birthday and *buying her a DVD*.
Interesting how he can afford a DVD for a cat who likely doesn't give a sh.t
about it yet cannot afford a regular vet or to help out a couple of strays.

that's one "feliny", surely?
please don't flame me for the joke. I'm not laughing at what those
"kids" did - they deserve to have the smae done to them.
