Spots around ears?

One of our cats has developed small  red scabby spots just infront of
the ears and the fur seems thinner. The inner ear seems clean though.
Any ideas what these could be?

Scabby spots from scratching?
Have you noticed increased scratching?

Could be a number of things - see your Vet -

Could be allergic reaction, fleas, or ringworm, staph or who knows
what....why wait, see your vet...Jen
