My cat wraps his toy thing around his body and then sits at my feet
staring at me to play with him does anyone else have cats with doglike
behaviour?

One of my cats carries this little stamp pad around in his mouth and drops
it at my feet. Then he watches it until I throw it for him. Sometimes he'll
actually jump into the air and catch it before he lands!!!!

Jeffrey brings me his toy and waits for me to throw it so he can play
fetch. My Mom's cat does the same thing.

Rowan goes for "walks" on a leash and sometimes even sits when I ask if
I bribe her. heh

There are a lot more cats who like to play fetch, than one would
think.
I have a few myself, and they prefer a folded pipecleaner as the
object to retrieve. Lucky for them I'm a pipe smoker :-)

My cat Frimousse calls us to throw her toys in the air so she can catch
them. She often does it by herself too (throw, that is)... She is hilarious.

Minouche sits when asked.

Misha plays fetch with her catnip mouse... I throw it, she runs and catches
it... brings it back and when I say "give" with my hand under her chin, she
drops it.
She also welcomes me at the door when I come back home, and she "talks to
me".
She rings the bell to go outside.

That's about what comes to my mind at the moment about my cats having "doggy
behaviour" hehe :) I think it's pretty normal, and really fun... With
patience and if they enjoy it, we can teach them quite a lot of things.

Mia and her babies.

LOL I'd love to see that. I tried it cus Tucker IS so dog like and the look
I got was hysterical. Like "Sure you jest you ignorant woman!"

Yeah, both the boys do the greeting thing too. Tucker does the mouse thing
as well :)

hehe I'd love to see this one too! How cute is that?

Tucker will fetch anything at all we throw for him. He just loves to play.
James won't much :( He's only 5 but acts old.

She sounds adorable!

We use one of those disc shooting gun things for Tucker. He acts VERY much
like a tiny dog LOL
He leaps to catch the discs in his mouth, he chases the others he cannot
catch, and if I quit before he's ready he will start bringing me the discs.
We clean them all up every evening, and they are in a box, but inevitably we
miss one or two, and the next morning when I get up, there they are in my
chair :)

Oscar fetches. Camille "speaks" on command. All of my cats meet me at
the door when I come home. Other than that, they're pretty much
catlike.
