I have an 11 month old Munchkin kitten who is very spoiled. She follows
me around and sleeps with us. She has been the only cat in our
household.
My son had us take care of his kitten my kitten's sister for a few
weeks, My cats's whole personality changed she wanted nothing to do with
us, but when he other cat left she was affectionate again.
I foresee a possible problem arising. My daughter ,living with us, has
bought a female Munchkin kitten that will arrive in May. I am afraid
that my cat will become jealous and will alter her sweet personality. I
was also thinking of buying a male kitten. Any help would be
appreciated.

They change when cats and even other humans are introduced because the
group dynamics change. Same with people. You don't want a cat that
only wants you. You cannot always be there. Get the cats you want and
they will adapt fine as long as you introduce them intelligently.
Slowly, new cat in its own room first, etc. Google this group for
"introducing new cat." Much has been posted. Good luck!

Is she intact?  Whole females often get very territorial (even
to the point of spraying!).  If she's not spayed yet, that'd be a very
good place to start.
