Has anyone else had cats that showed side effects from eating this food. I
switched about 2 weeks ago, blended it in with the regular science diet.
Since it has been purely hairball control, 2 of my youngest cats are having
vomiting problems. They are vomiting up small amounts of hair, tinged with
the color of the dry food. Its mostly liquidy and cat hair is spread
throughout, not in a ball form. Its like the hair they have eaten in the
course of the day is coming up frequently. They are not dehydrated or
lethargic. Still eating and playing as usual. No diahhrea. I think it may
be the food. I will switch back to the regular to be sure.

No, I haven't, but then it comprises only about ? of my cats' diet. I feed
it to them, but they prefer SD Light, so they get more of the Light than of
the Hairball Control.

The food may be too rich for them. How old are these kitties? You
can always continue to mix it with regular food - it will still help
with the hairballs. I have mixed Nutro hairball with regular cat food
for years and had a lot of luck doing so.

Well I switched them back to the sensitive stomach last night and I found no
surprises this morning so I guess it was the food. My other 2 cats seem to
be eating it ok. Its hairball light so I better keep it for my fat cat,
unless she starts puking. Shes 22 lbs.
I just don't want my little cat puking all the time, shes only 6lbs, cant
afford for her to lose any weight.
