I have a 5 month old kitten and she just started suckling on her own
teats.  I have heard of kittens suckling on objects such as blankets,
or their own tails if they were not weaned.  But this girl was fully
weaned from her mother before I picked her out at the Humane Society.
And I've had her for over a month and as far as I can tell she just
started doing it a few days ago.  I should add, that she's done it
when she's curled up in my lap or next to me in bed. Should I let her
do it?  Or give her some object as a pacifier?  Help!
