Wow. Can I have your cat? Wendell just sort of stares at me when I use my
mad
voice. He's like, "Can you stop yelling at me so I can get back to what I
was
doing?"

LOL sounds like my Boots. He does occasionally respond when I tell him to
get down or tell him "no" but only if he's not really all that interested in
what he was doing anyway.
mumble mumble getting too old to deal with a kitten mumble mumble. lol

The fun y thing is, when he's doing something he's not supposed to he KNOWS
it. So as soon as he hears me coming, even before I say anything, he stops
and runs away. Usually he's in the kitchen sink, pushing through the dishes
if I haven't done them yet. When I get up, he jumps down and races to the
cat castle in the living room and waits for me to rub his belly. When I do
have to *really* yell, when he's pouncing on poor little Tiger (almost 14)
and she's pinned down crying, he looks really mad at me when he finally lets
go. But most of the time he's doing something "bad", it's nothing serious
and he actually expects a belly rub as a reward. And I give it to him, of
course.

Not even that with Wendell. I'll push him away from something and he'll be
right back in a second, unless he gets distracted by something more
interesting. He has me perfectly trained, though. When I'm at the computer, he
"yells" at me and, me being more compliant when being yelled out, immediately
go over and rub his belly. (As soon as he gets my attention, he's on his back,
on my bed, ready for his massage.)
Remind me again why I bother having a cat?
Oh, right, I'm lonely, and he's adorable.
