Carey has been off the Valium for almost 2 weeks now and there's definite
imrpovement in the vocalizations.  She continues on daily Prednisone.  She sees
the neurologist on the 9th (our last appt had to be cancelled due to ice and
then the vet is away for this week) so we'll see where we go from here.  Not
back on the Valium, as being off doesn't change her behavior/body control for
the worse.  Thanks to most who offered thoughts.  Her appetite has not
decreased with the absence of the Valium (would be nice if she wasn't still
trying to get into any food she can! ;-D), so that's a good thing as well.

Good to hear, Janet.  I hope things go well at the vet.
