I still think my kitty is #1, of course, at least in my own mind, but since I know I'm too lazy to post him on there, I figured I might as well try to help someone else's beautiful kitty win, and Sammy is a tabby, so is my Casey, so that works! :-) I went onto that Site and the dogs seem to be winning right now but there are some nice looking cats. Not sure who to vote for. Supposedly, 33 of my friends, relatives and online friends and acquaintances voted. Only 9 show..so, I hate to bother the Humane Society about their lousy methods..but.....I will. Who can we contact? You know, when I went to vote for Sammy the other day I got a screen that allowed me to enter my e-mail address, plus other e-mail addresses. It said I would get an e-mail to complete my voting. I put my address in, plus my work address. I did get a confirmation at my work address but not my own. So I just went and tried again, and this time I got a different screen that just asked for my address. I entered it again and got an e-mail right away, and clicked on it to vote. It looks like that vote *did* register, because Sammy went from 9 to 10 votes. I think maybe yesterday I clicked on the Forward button instead of the vote button. Liz So far...42 people claimed to have voted for my boy (and no reason not to believe them) and 10 votes show up! ..I'm calling on Monday. If you didn't enter your pet in the contest, then you're free to vote for someone else's pet..and if you became aware of the contest because you read their post (and think their cat IS cute) then you are free to vote for their cat. I love all cats..but that love is nowhere near the level of the love I have for my boy, Sammy!
