Our three cats have a dish of Nutro and a dish of Chicken Soup dry food
as well as a bowl of water always availiable. They will eat one of the
other several times a day.

In the morning and in the evening they each get a dish of canned food.
I always give them all the same flavor at the same time. Sometimes they
eat it right up, but other times they will take a few bites and seem to
lose interest, but when somebody leaves his dish, he will run over to
it and gobble it up, even though it's the same thing that he has in his
own dish. They all do this. What's it all about?

It means they are convinced that whatever the other cat was eating must be
better than what they had, and they better gobble it down so the other cats
don't get it.

Hey, one of our cats will sometimes refuse to eat her food if given as a meal,
but if offered ten minutes later in little portions as a treat, decides it's
the yummiest thing she ever tasted.

They're cats!  They have no conception of ownership.

Oh, BS.  They're cats. They own everything and you are their willing
slaves! =^_^=

I know people like this! The ones who always eat off of my plate at
restaurants, though they ordered something else! (My sister and a good
friend both do this to me.)
