When a cat goes in for it's first set of full vaccinations, what
vaccinations are given?

Depends on you and your vet, but some are mandatory. Do not over
vaccinate and remember that not all vaccines are 100% effective.

There is a rather large debate over how frequently vaccines should be
given, what types, etc because of feline vaccine associated sarcoma.

Adding to Kaeli's post, here is a good article and then at the bottom of the

I agree it depends on your vet. The only shots that my vet said was
mandatory was rabies. Possibly distemper but I cant remember. I also get
them leukemia shots because I just don't want to take the risk of them
catching these things although they have always been indoor cats. Was not
aware before reading things on this news group that there were things that
could be harmful to the cats. I just assumed all shots were safe for all
animals.
