He needs to see a vet. Do not put peroxide in your cat's mouth.

i just went through this with my cat,,,he needed antibiotic drops. He
needs to be seen....If not it will get worse and can be very very
painful for him & could lose his tooth/teeth Don't put anything in his
mouth unless the vet says so.

It is probable that your cat has some serious dental problems. He needs
to be seen by a vet and no amount of home remedies will ease is pain or
solve the problem. This needs to be done ASAP, because if he has an
abscess, it can really hurt and infections in the teeth and gums will
often detrimentally affect other organs such as the heart and kidneys.

>i will try hydrogen peroxide on a cue tip

Please don't do this.

>or is there something better ?

Yes. A vet visit, hopefully tomorrow.

My cat had mouth sores. I went to the vet and the vet gave me Clavamox
antibiotics. This is amoxycillin. It went away in 2-3 days.
