Hi All
I posted earlier about using a product called "capture" to remove
urine from rugs. It works very well, but in a few cases in my office,
we had residual odors that would pop up every once in a while. I
bought the Febreeze in Spring Renewal, and used it all over my carpet,
especially soaking the area where Tycho had his accidents. After
drying, my husband actually said "this is the first time I don't smell
cat pee in here!" I consider that a success.
BTW, I thought the Febreeze would be "perfumey", it is actually not.
It does not cover the odor with a scent, but really seems to remove
it.

Get out! Another Tycho? Where did your mom get the name? Mine is
from Tycho Brahe the astronomer. I actually pronounce it "Tee-Ko" but
some pronounce it Tie-ko. My Tycho is a long-haired tabby.

We pronounce it Tie-ko. Same source. My nephew picked it out. Fancy that!
Ours is a long haired white and orange kitty. I'll post a link to pictures
soon. I posted a bunch last week on alt.binaries.pictures.animals if they
are still on there. Look for Tycho and Petrus subjects.
