Here's a newspaper article with a happy ending (because the cat was found)
but with a lot of trauma (because it details the story of a cat that escaped
from its carrier as it was being placed on a plane for transport). The cat
was finally found, identified through an implanted microchip, and reunited
with its family *two months* later.

Cool that the wife flew from RI to WA to look for the cat and put up the posters
etc., and then the cat was found.
Glad Delta flew the cat home (as it appears they should).

I'm amazed the owners would give Delta a second try at transport.
