We have a white male cat approximately 13 years old that has just recently
begun exhibiting a peculiar behavior. He has started stooling, but not
urinating outside his litter box. In fact, he will urinate in the box and then
run to the other room and leave his present. He has two brothers that do not
show this change in behavior. They have lived in this house now for four years
without any difficulties. Their litter boxes are cleaned daily and they are
very well taken care of. Unfortunately, this problem has become serious as we
are just now beginning to show the house to prospective buyers. The problem
started before we had even talked to a relator about listing the house, so
we're fairly sure that's not the cause. If anyone has had this problem or has
any ideas, please let us know. The best way to respond to this posting would be
by e-mail at either seamus26@aol.com or debragrmi@aol.com. Thanks in advance!

He should be seen by a vet to rule out any medical problems. For three cats,
there should be 4 boxes.
