Steve, remember that older but unexpired bag of SD we discussed a while
back? That was the one I ordered in November.
Well, I ordered another bag of the same recipe but at a different vet
clinc last week. It came in today... the expiry on it is November 2004
so it is a fresher bag.
The ingredients list pretty much matches what is on the website with one
exception I've noted so far: Instead of "animal fat" as per the website
the bag quotes "pork fat" instead.
This bag was also 3 bucks more than the bag I ordered last month.
I'm talking about the Chicken & Rice dry recipe here.

Hi Joe,
I hope the winter isn't getting you down. My daughter and
son-in-law fled Quebec for the Christmas Holidays and are down here
enjoying 50 degree (F) weather.
"Animal fat" has long been pork fat, but was not always labelled as
such. Considering everyones concern over "generic" anything, I'm
guessing the folks in the marketing department finally figured out it
was smarter to actually label it as pork fat, which it has been for
nearly two decades anyway. I can't figure out why the web site doesn't
display that as well. It should, since it pulls data from the primary
location which contains all current data. When I get back from
vacation I'll have to send the e business boys a note and find out
why.
Have a great Christmas
