I think these days people don't get involved which is a shame. Although when
a human child is at risk they pull out all the stops. This past week
neighbors saw water coming out from underneath a front door from a home.
They discovered that the father in his 20's had died of natural causes and
the child was able to survive by thing she could reach in the fridge and of
course she was able to turn on the water faucet for a drink. This was
apparently going on for several days.

"Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one
elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and
splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then
providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision,
raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and
material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his
way."
