I don't know if this link will work here, but my niece (who is 3) sent me a
Christmas card that I know other cat owners would appreciate :-).

You might have to cut and paste since the link is so long.

Too cute!

Surprisingly, my 4 were only interested in the tree while I was setting it
up.  I have a 4-foot artificial (and pre-lit, to boot) tree, and have it on
an end table, so once it was off the floor, they didn't seem to want to
bother it, even though they can still get close to it via the chair next to
the end table (a chair that one of them always seems to be sleeping in).

Weeble is right now more interested in the cursor & mouse movement on the
screen, although he & Lizzie were chasing a lady bug around the bedroom
earlier.  Know how hard it is to see what you've typed with a kitten between
you & the monitor?  I keep telling him that he's not a viewport, but it
doesn't seem to phase him.  If I put him on the floor, he jumps right back
up, if I hold him on my lap, he gets all wriggly & wrestley.  I figure I'll
let him be and he'll eventually figure out that he *can't* catch the
blinky-thing and get bored and either wander off or curl up & nap.
Fortunately, he hasn't (yet) figured out how to open the keyboard drawer and
leave his own messages on the NGs.

Sometimes I'll use my laptop in bed, so I have a pretty good idea about the
"not being able to see the monitor because of a cat sitting on you" thing
:-).  My cat rarely likes to cuddle, but if I've got my computer and I'm in
bed, that's when she wants to!

I used to get e-mails from my mother that went like this:

"Hi.  How are you?  I
siiiiiiiiiejjeeeeeeeeeejjjjjjjjjjjlllllllllllsssssssssssssssoooooooooogggggg
ggeeeeeeeeeeeccccccccc2222222.  The cat says hello."  Why she didn't just
delete the stuff the cat typed, I do not know, but it was kind of funny.

BTW, Weeble is looking so sleek and cat-like now!  He sort of looks like a
mischievious 8-year-old :-).
