Greetings,
Does anyone know the true risks of parasitic infections for a strictly house
cat being given outside grass? I believe an important part of the life
cycles of many pests include laying eggs on grass that is then eaten by an
unsuspecting host. Seems as if I would be exposing my cat to some of the
dangers of the outside while denying her all of its pleasures. But, I have
been giving my cat a few blades of grass a day from the yard for 4 years now
without any ill effects... so far.

Hi Ed,
Why not give your kitty a container of wheat grass to munch on? You can buy it
at a store like Whole Foods. They have it labeled as "pet grass" in the
produce section. Or, you can grow your own.
