My cat has been troubled by an ulcer in her mouth for quite awhile. Her
teeth have been cleaned so It's not from plaque. Dr. has had her on
Amoxicillin and clavamox on two occasions. It seems to clear up for a
couple of weeks and then she gets it back again. Has anybody else had
this problem? If so, is there another antibiotic you may have had
success with? TIA, PJ.

If your cat is also drooling, it may be a virus called calici. It's
currently running through our shelter, and ulcers in the mouth and/or on the
nose are good indicators, and the drooling seems to cement that it is
calici. I'm sure your vet has thought of this possibility, but it never
hurts to mention something they may have missed.
